Penwell Law launched a new program whereby young women interested in law are given the opportunity to experience the average day for an attorney. The young women shadowed Penwell Law attorneys through various transactional, operational, and administrative matters. This year, Penwell Law Partnered with Megan Zei of Pion Law for this endeavor, allowing the young women the additional opportunity to experience life as a litigation attorney, including issue-spotting a car accident fact pattern for legal issues. Penwell Law’s Founding Partner, Scott Penwell remarked, “I’m very proud of the women lawyers in our firm, Dana Robinson and Paula Kathopoulis, who took the initiative to create and develop such an impressive program for young women who aspire to become lawyers.”

Penwell Law firm members Scot Penwell and Dana Robinson recently conducted a private placement webinar. Scott and Dana conducted the webinar on behalf of a client seeking to raise between $5 million and $50 million in capital through a Regulation D private placement offering. The webinar covered the fundamentals of the investment opportunity, including potential risks and benefits, voting and distribution rights in relation to tiers of investment, and applicable securities regulations.
