Randy has dedicated himself to assisting clients start and successfully grow their businesses. Randy has significant experience representing clients in complex mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and secured transactions, corporate governance matters, and other commercial and/or real estate transactions. With a background in commercial litigation, Randy understands the importance of identifying and managing risks and works to ensure his clients are able to make informed decisions based upon the associated risks, and always with an eye towards keeping clients out of court.

Prior to joining Penwell Bowman + Curran, Randy spent five years working with a regional law firm where he focused his practice in the corporate and real estate arenas. Randy was excited to join Penwell Bowman + Curran because of the firm’s commitment to developing genuine relationships with clients, while providing both exceptional and affordable legal services.

Randy attended Dickinson College, where he received his B.A. in Law and Policy, and the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law. Randy was the founder of “Leading Law Students”, a community based outreach program established to provide law students an opportunity to serve their local community by participating on the board of a local nonprofit organization, and was the recipient of CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for the highest grade in his class for both Pennsylvania Civil Practice and Real Estate Negotiation and Drafting.

Randy and his wife, Megan, have a small farmette outside of Harrisburg. He enjoys spending his time off with his family, including his two Australian Shepherds, Monte and Evie, and 22-year-old horse, Palmer, who ensures there is always a fence to repair or stall to clean. Randy is also a skilled ceramicist/potter and finds great solace in this hobby.
